What should do?

My gun is missing n my live in BF have a criminal record, i don't wanna call the police on him, what should i do he has come home in days either. serious answer pls.
Answers:
if you do not call the police and tell them that your gun is missing then you can get in trouble. if your boyfriend commits a crime and you tell the police that you knew your gun was missing they will probably think you were a part of it. Some police might go as far as saying you were an accomplice

Well if you purchased your gun legally (I am in no way saying that you didn't) you should report it because if it is used in a criminal act and the police have it and run the serial # they will link it back to you and then there will be more questions to be answered.
