What should be Religions role in the world scene?

Many that are religous still admit to religion as one of the biggest
trouble makers in the world.
Should government intervene or not?

false religion is a huge trouble maker.
goverments will get involved because Jehovah will put it inot there hearts (rev. 17:16,17) at this time true religion just stands back and watches.

Religion and government do not mix. Every war in the Middle East, and virtually all of the terrorist activities seen in the 20th century have been caused by relilgious extremism.
The answer is simple: Government around the world should be secular.
Let people pray to their God, just not in the seat of government and power.

In a perfect utopia, the separation of church and state would actually exist. In the real world, I think the best thing the government can do, is try to make that divide by not getting involved. The whole thing is very sad.

How should they approach the problem ? Outlaw it ? Then it goes underground like the dark ages ? We really do not need anymore government intervention. LOL. We need to get our government in control and accountable . We do not need them to control us more. They have too much control now .

The government may have a slight say about people's religion, but if you look at it in the right way, they have no right to intervene into people's religion cuz its a person's right to belong in a religious community. If someone in a religious group causes trouble then they can hunt him down, but not because of his religion but simply because of that fact that he disobeyed the law.

Religious leaders should encourage their followers to seek peaceful solutions to their grievances. When a religious leader gives carte blanc to violent protest, then it isn't really about believing in God.
